Morag Brocklehurst

I offer coaching to individuals at any stage of their career.
I have a passion for helping clients understand what motivates them, how to overcome obstacles and find their own solutions to challenges in their professional life. I firmly believe that this approach is key for people to fully realise their potential.
I have worked with clients in organisations and independently in a wide range of sectors, including financial and professional services, management consulting, higher education, law and social services. My areas of expertise include:
- Career transitions
- Dealing with culture change
- Performance review meetings
- Career crossroads
- Difficult conversations
- Generally feeling stuck at work
- Self-belief and confidence issues
- Interview coaching
My coaching style draws on a range of theoretical models, depending on the issues. I believe strongly that context matters, that we are all resourceful and have the potential to grow. I start with a 30 minute free “chemistry meeting”. Subsequent sessions are charged at £80 for one hour.
My career journey started in HR in a London medical school. This led me to an HR role in a world class pharmaceutical company. I next joined one of the Big 4 professional services firms. Following a career break, further education and training, I then spent 17 years working at the London School of Economics and Political Science, first as a Career Consultant in LSE Careers and then as the Associate Programme Director and Academic Mentor for a pre-eminent master’s degree.
I have a diploma in executive coaching (AOEC), a postgraduate diploma in career counselling (UEL), an MSc in Organisational and Social Psychology (LSE) and a BA (Hons) in French (UCL).
